Mollie Matthews, CPO American Board Certified Prosthetist Orthotist


Martha “Mollie” Matthews is a graduate of Lees-McRae College located in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. She earned her American Board Certification in Orthotics in 2000 and Prosthetics in 2005. She has also completed the Newington Certificate Program in conjunction with the University of Connecticut and served as an adjunct professor at Wingate University. Physicians, physical therapists and occupational therapists seek Mollie’s guidance with prosthetic technology. She also provides continuing education courses to the local medical community.

Mollie embraces the continuous developments and technological advances in prosthetics and orthotics. She has expanded her knowledge and expertise by completing advanced training in:

  • Microprocessor Prosthetic Feet
  • Microprocessor Prosthetic Knees including C Leg 4, X3, Plie'
  • Vacuum Assisted Suspension including Limb Logic, Harmony
  • Myoelectric Systems including Bebionic Hand, iLimb

  • Stance Control Orthotics

Scott Meyer, CO
American Board Certified Orthotist


Scott Meyer is a native of Ohio and proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Upon completion of his military service, he pursued a career in orthotics and prosthetics. In 1997, Scott became an American Board Certified Orthotist. He has worked with patients of all ages and is passionate about helping them overcome their physical limitations.

When he isn’t working, Scott enjoys spending time with his family boating on Lake Norman, attending concerts on the green and gatherings with friends.

Terry Godwin
Patient Services Specialist


Terry is the first person our patients have contact with at Renew Prosthetics and Orthotics. She books appointments with patients, prepares billing, files patient insurance claims, provides financial counseling for co-insurances and deductibles, as well as answers and routes telephone calls. She is a native of South Carolina.

Cindy Estridge


Cindy is a native of Charlotte. Like Mollie, she also attended Lee-McRae College, in addition to UNC-Charlotte. Her duties at Renew Prosthetics and Orthotics include billing/financials, preparing contracts and marketing

Laurie Favaloro
Patient Services Specialist


Laurie Favalore is the first person patients have contact with in our Concord office. She answers phones, makes appointments, verifies insurance, obtains insurance authorizations and provides financial counseling for coinsurances and deductibles. Laurie has been in the medical field for over 20 years, which includes experience in hospitals, doctors' offices and finally orthotics and prosthetics. She absolutely loves what she does, helping people of all ages get their daily lives back to normal.

She is a Native to Long Island, New York and has been in North Carolina for a little more than a year. She enjoys living down South. When Laurie is not working, she loves to travel to visit her children in Connecticut and England. She also likes fishing, as well as arts and crafts.
